Fortunately PowerHost offers Linux hosting on both cPanel and Plesk. (Windows hosting is provided only on the Plesk Control Panel).

What are the differences between the two?

cPanel

• cPanel has a range of applications available via a feature called Fantastico
• cPanel facilitates the control of your various hosting features eg - email, databases, sub domains etc
• cPanel is easy to use and the most common.

Plesk

• Plesk is a truly powerful full feature control panel for your hosting
• Plesk has a similar range of applications available via a feature called Application Vault
• Plesk facilitates the control of your various hosting features eg - email, databases, sub domains etc basically it offers similar if not more control over cPanel.
